Andy Roddick Tries To Kill David Letterman: Video

So last night Andy Roddick had an appearance at The Late Show with David Letterman. It was Andy’s last night before the U.S. Open kicks off. The interview was as usual, with Andy and Dave chatting it out and having fun until Roddick decided to show his tennis skills.

The Nebraska native served the veteran TV host with predictable results, of course. While the serves were all in the range of 100 mph, it is obvious that Letterman couldn’t touch a single ball. He was only able to touch the ball when Andy decreased the speed to a meager 42 mph. In the interview, the two discussed his rivalry with Roger Federer at the Wimbledon.

Though Roddick joked that he is definitely inside the Swiss heavyweight’s head, we all know he is kidding. There is no one in this world, who can beat the Swiss giant so there’s no way the American will beat him.

He has won the 2003 US Open which propelled him to the number 1 position, which made him the only American after Andre Agassi to become number 1 after 1999.
